For a bit of context this isn't about anyone or anywhere, but a random thought.  "As a general topic... Has anyone ever run into a IRL person online? As in someone you know (say work, or school, or porn shoot) and just bumped into their character online?  I've been online and in the tech world  long enough that the chances seem real enough. A local BBS thing was a real occurance, the 'big' web just seems less so."

Here we go...

I was considering how people get so tied into their lives these days that things can lose the message. Not Chinese whispers. But sort of like someone's experience. Kinda. Maybe.  Some people are so 'OK' with sharing details, to me they look like a TV show.  I'm much better in person than on mic or on line convos.  Maybe because working in tech support and hearing my own voice again  and again. Dunno.

I grocked that some people on here have (let's be blunt) issues they work through so I figured they might not want to reply.. I'm no social butterfly, so the  Covid country lockdown was like "yeah, whutever" since little changed except when I wanted to go to cities.
Ease of use and consistency is also why I've kept the same 'nym  roughly the same one I've used for 20 odd years.  Back then, having a 'nym different from one's name was just normal.

For better or worse.  I've had epilepsy for...  ffs.. i've forgotten.. 25 years now I think. Gotten slightly worse I think over the year and is barely controlled now. Used to be I could drive
